Sosta is a London-based members-only campervan club offering shared access to beautifully designed vans for people who want the freedom of campervan travel without the cost, hassle, or compromises of ownership or traditional rentals.

Meet the Vans

Our first vans will be based on the iconic Volkswagen T6 platform and thoughtfully built in Sheffield by our friends at RomerWorld.

Expect warm, natural interiors with cork-sprayed walls for softness and insulation, stained plywood cabinetry, clever integrated storage, a full double bed for two and a pull-out rear kitchen designed for slow mornings, roadside coffees, and cooking wherever the road takes you.

Flexible Membership

Members receive a guaranteed number of days each season to use however they like — from long weekends away and slower road trips to shorter escapes from the city when they need to switch off.

Every Sosta van is delivered directly to members, with insurance, bedding, kitchen essentials, and support all included.

Founding Memberships

As part of our extended eight-month first season beginning in Summer 2026, a very limited number of memberships will be available at preferential founding rates.

Membership options for the first season:

  • 6 days across the season — £1,170 (£195/day equivalent)

  • 9 days across the season — £1,620 (£180/day equivalent)

  • 12 days across the season — £1,980 (£165/day equivalent)

  • Sosta launches Summer 2026. Our first vans are being built now in Sheffield.

  • Sosta will launch in London first. As the club grows, we plan to expand to other UK cities and regions.

  • Sosta is designed around Seasonal Memberships — Summer and Winter. Each season is intended to give members a guaranteed allocation of days to use however they like: long weekends, a week away, or shorter resets when they need them most.

    For our Founding Members season, things will run slightly differently as we learn, refine and shape the experience alongside our first members — but the goal remains the same: flexible escapes, simple booking, and the van delivered to your door.

  • Everything’s managed through the Sosta app — choose your days, confirm your trip, and go. Simple, transparent, and stress-free.

  • Sosta is designed to feel effortless from the start of your trip.

    For Founding Members, vans will be delivered and handed over across London at an agreed time and location before your booking begins.

  • We cap the number of members per van to keep things simple and ensure everyone gets a fair share of time. During the founding season, each member is guaranteed either 6, 9 or 12 days, depending on their membership. Booking is fully transparent, with real-time availability visible in the app, and we’ll have a few light guidelines in place during peak periods to make sure everyone has a fair chance to book the trips they want — without any rush or competition.

  • Our vans are thoughtfully designed to feel like Scandinavian cabins on wheels — calm, comfortable, and built for proper journeys. Our first VW Transporter T6 models will be announced very soon.

  • None. We’re not a rental company with add-ons and fine print. Sosta is a members-only club that gives you access to beautifully designed vans, fully managed and always ready to go.

  • Yes — dogs are welcome. Our vans are designed with durable, easy-clean materials so you can bring your four-legged friend along without any stress.

  • “Sosta” is Italian for “pause” — the moment you stop, take a breath, and enjoy where you are.
